Woman receives chilling texts from her own phone number at 2:13 a.m.
Maya's night turned into a nightmare when mysterious messages from her own number warned her not to look under the bed, followed by something far worse.
At 2:13 a.m., Maya received a text from her own phone number. The message read: don't look under the bed. She laughed until the message disappeared and reappeared.
The second message said: Check the closet. Maya froze. Her bedroom door was locked, but something scraped softly against the other side.
The messages continue
She grabbed a baseball bat and called her mom. No answer. Then her phone buzzed again.
This time the message said, she's in the hallway. Maya heard slow footsteps approaching. One step, then another.
Hiding from the intruder
The doorknob began to turn. She crawled beneath the bed, holding her breath. A pair of bare feet stopped inches away. Her phone lit up one final time.
Don't move, I can see you. Then from beneath the bed, Maya's own voice whispered, I know you're there.
